We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 ("UK GDPR"), and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA").

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information you choose to provide and a limited amount of technical information needed to operate the Site.

Information you provide through our contact form

Providing your name and email address is voluntary, but we cannot respond to your inquiry without sufficient contact information. When you submit our contact form, we collect:

  • Name
  • Company

  • The content of your message

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs limited technical data when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages requested. This is used to deliver the Site, maintain security, and prevent abuse. The Site does not currently use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.

Fonts

The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When fonts load, your browser contacts Google's servers, which may receive your IP address. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our terracotta products, partnerships, and sourcing;
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the Site, and only as needed:

  • Netlify, Inc. — website hosting and form processing. Contact-form submissions are transmitted to and stored by Netlify and forwarded to us. See the Netlify Privacy Policy.
  • Google LLC — font delivery (Google Fonts), as described above.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

5. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you are located in the EEA or the UK, your personal information may be transferred to countries that do not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where we transfer such data, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or on your explicit consent where applicable.

6. Data Retention

We retain contact-form submissions and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, maintain customer and supplier relationships, and preserve business records. Correspondence may remain in our email systems, backups, and archives as part of our ordinary business recordkeeping practices. We may retain information for longer periods where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including transmission over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and reliance on reputable hosting infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
